To
personalize my web site, I decided to include on the Lessons page,
actual photos of my daughter and her fiancé. In order to do this, I
needed to use a scanner and a photo editing program to convert the photos
to jpeg images. I own a Mustek 600
III EP Plus scanner and I have the MICROGRAFXPICTURE PUBLISHER program on
my computer.
How to Convert Photos to JPEG
Images:
Select specific photos for
use
Open MICROGRAFX PICTURE PUBLISHER
program
Insert photo into scanner
Scan and resize until
desired effect is achieved
Save "picture" in
an appropriate format (jpeg)
Bring picture into WEB
OPTIMIZER program
Edit and resample until
desired effect is achieved
Save finished version to
selected "photo" directory
In FrontPage, import
and insert converted jpeg image on desired web page
